Favorite Swimwear Brands

Up in the northern hemisphere, it is almost summer time! Which means beach vacations, lake days and relaxing by the pool. Us girls know how hard it can be to find the right swimsuits especially ones that fit all different body shapes and sizes. In college, I used to buy super cheap bathing suits for like $15 for top and bottom and would get maybe two wears out of them. Recently, and since living at the beach, I have decided to spend a little extra money and explore some new brands to see what my favorites are. I've given you the rundown below on quality, price-point and flattery + shopable links.

WEWOREWHAT

Danielle Bernstein's brand WeWoreWhat has become one of my favorite places to shop for swimsuits. I have purchased 5 of her suits from different collections and absolutely LOVE them. The quality is 10/10, sizing is true to size and they are super flattering. To the left, I have on the Como top and Delilah bottom in the old lemon print. This is probably my favorite bottom from her collections - it's cheeky, great for tanning and comes high on the hips which makes it super flattering. Pictured to the right, is the Sorrento top and Riviera bottom. I didn't expect the Sorrento top to work for my D cups but it's actually perfect and the new version has adjustable straps. Her price point is a bit more than I would usually spend, but the suits are worth the money (pro tip: wait til the new collection drops and her previous collection goes on sale!).

REVOLVE

We all know and love Revolve for having thousands of options, with new products dropping daily. I love that the site has so many different brands and styles so it works for everyone. I have said this in a previous post, but they also do free shipping and returns which is clutch when it comes to bathing suit shopping. If you are willing to take the time, you can also find some good deals in their sale section. Some of my favorite swimsuits right now on Revolve:

  • Farrah one piece by Blue Life - on sale!

  • So Solid Loreta one piece by eberjey - can also be worn as a bodysuit

  • Paulista one piece by Camila Coelho - love this blue color

  • Veda bikini top and bottom by House of Harlow 1960

  • Camelia top by L*SPACE - so many color options

  • Nicola top and Liam bottom by Frankies Bikinis - tie-dye trend on point

  • Gemma top and Frenchi Bitsy bottom by L*SPACE - on sale!

MONDAY SWIMWEAR

I have followed the owners, Tash and Devin, on Instagram for quite awhile and I absolutely love everything they do. They are the cutest best friends and promote body inclusivity. Their swimwear line has sizes up to G cup in tops, all different bottom sizes and an amazing fit guide to help you figure out exactly what you're looking for. I have a royal blue bikini from them and I think it is one of the best bikinis I have ever bought. The quality is top notch, price point isn't too expensive and they come in classic styles and colors. Obsessed with the new fuchsia color in the Palma top and bottom. If you are looking for a classic, black one piece, check out the Bahamas or the Portofino one pieces.

MAAJI

I have a few suits from here that are a bit older but have lasted years. The quality is amazing and many of their styles are reversible. They have such fun prints and patterns and most of their prints come in different styles so you can find what suits you! This is such a great classic black suit but with a twist when you reverse it! Absolutely love this deep turquoise color and top style.

Less Expensive Options:

Like everything else in your wardrobe, you can't always have the most expensive and best quality swimsuits for every occasion. I have had some luck with finding less expensive options but they definitely do not last as long. The orange Roxy one (left) has become a new staple here in Australia (similar top and bottom). It is super flattering, true to size and I love the color, plus Roxy is known worldwide for their swimwear and the quality is good. The center and right photo are bikinis from Shein. A lot of times when I purchase from websites like Shein or Zaful, I buy 4 or 5 bathing suits expecting half to work. It isn't financially the smartest decision, and these websites tend to be a little unreliable, the sizing is off and the quality isn't great. However, I have definitely had luck and they are always having sales, but definitely don't get your hopes up too high.
